Esperanza Education Fund’s core mission is to provide scholarships for some of the DMV’s most deserving students. And as a scholarship-awarding organization, our primary duty and commitment to our Scholars and donors is to remain financially healthy and fiscally responsible.

The Esperanza Education Fund celebrates 15 years of awarding immigrant students in the DMV scholarships.
On average, 93% of our revenue comes from the generosity of individual donor contributions. The other 7% typically comes from corporate contributions.
Scholarship Awards to our Scholars represent more than half of our expenses year over year. Other expenses include other program support such as our mentorship and career readiness program, as well as general operating and fundraising outreach expenses.
